Bike Film Fest Promo Material

I (Tom Briggs) am the "B" in "Bicycle" and Tom Mosher is the "I" in "Bicycle."

Mosher's Bike Check

Mosher put together the best bike check ever in video form with a few new moves thrown in at the end just for good measure. I don't have anything else to say about this other than it's awesome!

Bicycle Film Fest Trailer Sneak Peek

Two weeks ago I was asked to participate in the filming of the Bicycle Film Fest official trailer. The trailer and poster for this years BFF will feature both myself (Tom Briggs), Tom Mosher and our super good friend Toby Spunt. We're very excited to be part of such an awesome festival and were happy to help out in any way we could. Here's a sneak peek of what went down but you'll just have to wait a little while longer to see the full trailer and official poster up on the BFF website, in the next few days.

Gerry

So a few months ago I made a post on here about a good friend named Gerry Gauthier who I've lost touch with. He was one of the best riders I've ever met and frankly he's sort of an honorary team member here at Skitch, even if he doesn't know it. Well today I checked my e-mail and discovered an awesome message from Gerry's girlfriend Erin who was kind enough to enclose a few long lost photos of Gerry riding. The photo of Gerry skidding through the bowl was actually shot by me in July of 2007 along with the other photos from the China Creek bowls. A huge thanks to Erin for sending these along and if their are any more please send them over so we can share them with all our readers here at Skitch.

I also discovered this super old image of Duncan riding the China Creek bowl from that session in the Summer of '07.

So the Skitch team was all over the third issue of Fixed Magazine. Thanks to everyone at the magazine for putting out such an awesome publication!

You can spot Ten Ten and Duncan in photos throughout the Vancouver article and Mosher in his interview about the Trick Track forum that he started. Torey is also talked about in a feature on the Council of Doom video. Way to go guys!

Wonka Edit

Our man Torey put together this edit of Wonka and it's amazing! I honestly never thought I would ever see someone bunny hop barspin a stair set on a fixed gear bike ever but here it is.

Calling Out Duncan

Well it looks like this dude saw Duncans last edit and thought he should try and match up to the loading dock drop. I don't think it went quite as well but good try.

A Murder of Couriers

We here at Skitch have no official affiliation with this video but so many of our good friends are in it we can't help but post this. Vancouver at it's finest! Keep your eyes peeled for this video to drop sometime after summer.

The Revival Important Announcement

Due to many unforeseen circumstances we have had to make the difficult decision of canceling this months Revival tour. We would like to stress that this does not mean in any way that we are canceling the video. Production will still continue and it is still our goal to put out one of the best fixed gear dvd’s of all time.

Logistical issues with a few people who were scheduled to participate forced the cancelation of the tour. We felt that it would jeopardize the quality of the final product if we attempted the tour with so few people as well as committing to the originally slated July release date.

The release date will be pushed back but in its place we are hoping to release a precursor to the official Revival film, entitled The Revival Presents: Keep on Keepin’ On, which will feature west coast riders from both Vancouver and Seattle. The release date has not been set in stone for this short either but we are looking at late summer or early fall possibilities.

To anyone who was planning to come out and ride with us while we were in your city we apologize, we’ll just have to catch you next time. We would also like to thank everyone who has been supporting the Revival and watched the trailer; this video will be for all of you.

The Revival Begins

Today is day one of The Revival tour and we couldn't be more excited. Over the next month riders and filmers will be making their way across North America filming for what will be one of the greatest fixed gear videos to date. Wayne Morehart is heading down to Seattle from Vancouver to film with some of the locals including Tyler, Zach and Chris "The Butcher" Clappe. Zach from Zlog has been kind enough to offer up a floor for Wayne to crash on while they film over the next four days and I'm sure some photos will be coming out soon with their progress. Keep checking back as we will be making updates regularly about the progress of The Revival.
